Keep Pickens Beautiful is proud to announce we have received The Governors Circle Award again this year!
The award is presented by the state of Georgia for our work in reducing litter and beautification in our county. One of the activities is to conduct a litter index each year to measure the amount of litter on our roadways and track it from year to year.
Our Adopt-A-Road Volunteers do a great job keeping our roadways cleaned up; this saves the County money and man-hours. Our beautification volunteers work on projects that enhance the environment and add to the beauty of our County.
