Let’s Clean Up Pickens! part 1

Join the Great American Cleanup this April! Help Pickens County contribute to the billions of pieces of trash being removed from neighborhoods, rivers, trails, and parks during Earth Day month.

Keep Pickens Beautiful will spearhead two local cleanups for streets identified as “most littered” by the county. Join one of those clean-up teams or organize your own neighborhood clean-up with your neighbors. KPB will provide supplies to help you in this effort.

Together we can make a stand in April to restore our neighborhoods and make Pickens know as the cleanest, greenest, brightest county in North Georgia.

How can you participate?  Join us on the westside on April 9 as we clean up Carver Mill Road!

Meet us at Hinton Milling at 10:00.
Pull to the end of their parking lot – do not block their gate please!
KPB will have safety vests, pick-up sticks, and gloves. If you have any of these items, please bring them since our supplies are limited.

KPB will also sponsor a cleanup on the eastside on April 30, so come join our clean-up team or let us know what neighborhood you would like to sponsor.
