SUMMARY:New Garden Installation: Talking Rock
DESCRIPTION:Join us on Wednesday\, June 18th to install a brand new Edible Pickens garden in front of the Boxcar Grill and Mary2 Wine Bar (and Talking Rock Brewery). They have 2 built raised beds and 2 in-ground beds that will need to be established. During the install\, we will fill the garden beds with bulky compostable items like branches and leaves\, etc. and then topsoil. We will also be adding topsoil to the in-ground beds to prepare the area for edible plants. Once the beds are established\, we will plant some new plants and seeds\, and then top it off with a fresh layer of mulch. We will spread any extra mulch on the ground to walk on. \n\n\n\nThis is going to be fun! The brewery will be open\, some come enjoy an afternoon beer while we work! \n\n\n\nPlease bring yard waste that you’d like to get rid of to help us fill the raised beds!(like leaves\, grass clippings\, small branches and limbs less than 2″ in diameter\, etc.)  \n\n\n\nWe have some tools\, but please bring shovels\, pitch forks\, and wheel barrows if you have them. \n\n\n\nAddress:4500 GA-136 W\, Talking Rock\, GA 30175
