SUMMARY:Edible Pickens Garden Planting - Lee Newton Memorial Garden
DESCRIPTION:Volunteer in our Edible Pickens Gardens every weekend in April as part of the Greatest American Cleanup For America’s 250th! \n\n\n\nOur second Edible Pickens workshop in April will happen at the Lee Newton Park Memorial Garden near the Chamber of Commerce Building. We will do some garden maintenance\, like weeding\, pruning and fertilizing existing plants\, while also adding new seeds and some new plant babies in each garden. Adding a fresh layer of mulch at the end will not only make these gardens look cleaned up\, but will also help hold in moisture and nutrients to help the garden thrive! \n\n\n\nNo experience necessary.All ages\, bring the family!Tools and water will be provided.Just show up and have some fun with us!Parking is easy! Park anywhere in the parking lot and walk over past the Chamber of Commerce building.
