Edible Jasper Spring Begins 2022!

Spring is in the air! It’s time to get the Edible Jasper gardens started!
April is the Great American Cleanup, so we’re going to start the month’s activities with cleaning up the gardens to prep them for new plants. If the weather cooperates, we may start planting some of our cold tolerant starts. We have kale varieties, swiss chard, boy choy, pac choy, and more that are ready to go in the ground asap! And we have a Serviceberry tree that we’ll plant in front of the Kirby-Quinton cabin.
Watch for updates as we modify the event plans based on the weather.
Join us for part or all of the day’s events. We’ll start in the gardens behind the Kirby-Quinton cabin and in the Pickens Progress parking lot, and will work our way down Main Street.
Come play in the dirt with us! Meet new friends! And have fun while beautifying Main Street!
