DESCRIPTION:Join us for the 4th annual Earth Day on Main celebration! This year\, we will be celebrating right in the parking lot at the KPB Office. Each year this event is a little different depending on our current focuses and programs. This year we will not be including vendors\, and will focus on eco-friendly activities and educational workshops for the whole family! \n\n\n\nWe are also curating a local plant swap\, just dig one up from your yard and swap it with one you might not have from someone else in the community! We will also be celebrating the efforts of all of the Litter-O-Lympics participants with medals and prizes for who collected the most litter in the competition. Help us celebrate their amazing efforts! (It’s not too late to participate if you want to join in the fun\, the competition ends April 18th.) \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in teaching the community something special or maybe have a fun eco-friendly craft you’d like to include\, please contact us!

DESCRIPTION:The CARES Garden of Giving has been amazing fruitful this year!  Now it’s time for an end-of-Summer cleanup to prepare for Fall. \n\n\n\nWith all the recent rain\, the mulch in the paths has completely broken down and needs to be topped with fresh mulch.  Plus there’s some weeding and other general cleanup.  Join us to help get the garden ready for another season of giving. \n\n\n\nIf you’re able to join us and you have any of these tools\, please bring them: wheel barrow\, rakes\, pitch forks\, shovels\, and anything else that can help move or spread mulch. \n\n\n\nCheck out how much produce the garden has grown!
