New Recycling Guide for the Pickens Recycling Center

Pickens Recycling Guide - front

Keep Pickens Beautiful has always worked closely with the recycling centers in Pickens County.  A primary focus of our mission is waste reduction so we encourage the community to reduce, reuse, and recycle.  We are extremely excited that Pickens County is rapidly transforming into the recycling leader of Northwest Georgia!  KPB thanks the amazing team at the Pickens Recycling Centers for their dedication to helping the community to demonstrate how properly managed recycling can be effective.  In 2021, they have shipped more than 1.3 Million pounds of recyclable material!

Keep Pickens Beautiful has been working with the new Pickens Recycling Center to help the community to learn the new sorting processes.  Earlier this year, we designed and sponsored the large banners to provide highly visible color-coded categories.  We have designed is a Recycling Guide that matches the color categories on the bins at the centers with additional helpful information on the back.  Please keep this guide handy as you sort your materials.
