Working Together
To Keep Pickens Beautiful!
KPB is here to help keep our county clean, to educate the community about sustainable lifestyle options, and to reduce the volume of waste headed to the landfills. While we have an amazing team comprised of Board members, community members, and volunteers, our corporate, business, governmental, and other supporting partners help to make everything possible.
Please support these organizations and businesses – they support our community!
Keep Pickens Beautiful wants to extend a special thank you to our corporate and business community. Thanks to their generosity, KPB is able to continue offering free programs to the community and expand our services to better serve Pickens County. Please consider becoming a Corporate Sponsor or Business Partner.
Our Corporate Sponsors
Veredesigns has been offering marketing and design services to KPB since 2020. They rebuilt this website, have expanded our social media presence, and have helped with other projects such as the banners and the guide for the Pickens County Recycling Centers. If you see a graphic, image, ad, flyer, and other marketing or informative pieces, the Veredesigns team was probably involved. In 2022, they donated more than 855 hours to KPB’s projects!

Prodew is the industry leader in misting and humidification for retail grocery stores. Their systems help extend product shelf life to reduce product loss and waste.
Prodew donated the watering totes we use for our Edible Jasper gardens. Thanks to their generosity, we can take care of our plants as they’re getting settled into their new garden spaces.

Our Community Supporters
The Pickens County Progress continues to be an amazing KPB partner. They are always happy to publish articles about our activities and programs, even when we frantically call them at the last minute to tell them ‘it’s on its way!’ The Progress parking lot is the site of the first Edible Jasper gardens – an example of their support and encouragement for new ideas and collaborations that will benefit the community.
The UPS Store is here to help with your shipping, packing, printing, mailboxing and everything else you need for your business.
Earthbound Skills offers a range of programs with a focus on hands-on, experiential outdoors activities. Come together with fellow outdoor enthusiasts to learn new skills!
The Pickens Historical Society is a new KPB partner in 2022. As Edible Jasper was looking for new garden spaces in downtown, the Historical Society offered the space behind the Kirby-Quinton cabin. This is an ideal garden location since it is a low-use space that gets full sun. As this garden space evolves, KPB will continue to incorporate both plants our local restaurants would like to use, and period-appropriate plants. We look forward to growing this partnership 🙂
The SouthScape team is generous in their support of our beautification projects and programs. Most recently, as we’ve expanded our Edible Jasper gardens, they’ve donated the soil and delivered it to some unique and challenging places (see HERE). Thank you Brad and the SouthScape team for helping to beautify Pickens County!
David Akoubian and Bear Woods Photography is always ready with some new, incredible local photography for use on our website. Most of the header images are Bear Woods photos (including this page). Be sure to check the bottom of each page for photo details.
Our Local Governmental Partners
Pickens County has been a partner of KPB since the organization began in 1998 as Citizens for a Clean Community. We have always worked closely as partners, and KPB looks forward to continuing to grow that collaboration.
The City of Jasper has supported KPB since we began, and that relationship has continued to grow through the years. We are grateful to this partnership, especially as our projects and programs expand, such as Edible Jasper.
