Retro TV Recycling Day

We have received many calls asking where to recycle that old tube-style TV that’s been cluttering up your garage or basement.
Unfortunately, since they contain toxic metals, they must be handled by a company with the appropriate certifications.
Join KPB on Saturday, August 19 from 9:00 – 1:00 at the Pickens County Recycling Center for a ONE DAY ONLY event!
This is an event hosted by KPB. This is the ONLY time that you can bring your old TVs to the recycling center. KPB is coordinating with a company from Atlanta who can properly and responsibly recycle them.
Small – up to 50 pounds – $10.00
Medium – 50-100 pounds – $15.00
Large – 100-200 pounds – $20.00
Extra Large – more than 200 pounds – $40.00
TVs and monitors must be complete and intact. Broken units will not be accepted.
