The Team at the Pickens Recycling Center had started a beautiful garden in the front of their facility, but it was mostly ornamental plants. They reached out to KPB to help bring more food, herbs, and native plants into their garden.Â

In 2024, they removed the shrubs and our volunteers helped clear the rest. The Pickens County road department delivered mulch. And the Ediblizing of the garden began! In a short time, the garden is thriving, with more to come.
We are constantly adding to our gardens, so check back regularly to see how they're growing!
