Edible Pickens Garden Planting – Cabin & Peace Park

Volunteer in our Edible Pickens Gardens every weekend in April as part of the Greatest American Cleanup For America’s 250th!
Our first Edible Pickens workshop in April will happen in the historic Kirby-Quinton Cabin garden and the Peace Park garden at the north end of Main Street in downtown Jasper. We will do some garden maintenance, like weeding, pruning and fertilizing existing plants, while also adding new seeds and some new plant babies in each garden. Adding a fresh layer of mulch at the end will not only make these gardens look cleaned up, but will also help hold in moisture and nutrients to help the garden thrive!
No experience necessary.
All ages, bring the family!
Tools and water will be provided.
Just show up and have some fun with us!
